Duties

As a Program Analyst, you will:

- Assess the effectiveness of the National Revenue Center's program operations through the use of complex studies, analyses, surveys, reports, briefings, and similar activities
- Conduct studies, analyses and special projects regarding alcohol and tobacco operations and programs to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of potential concern, then prepare reports and briefings for management proposing solutions or alternatives to resolve discrepancies
- Perform long-range forecasting for the industry statistical program by researching, analyzing and interpreting industry statistical data, project future requirements, and identifying potential problems and assisting in formulating planned initiatives and procedures
- Develop detailed plans and tasks, including the establishment of milestone dates, program objectives, measurements and schedules for Permitting and Taxation’s Quality Assurance Program

    You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

    Specialized experience: For the GS-13 you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:  


    - Performing evaluations or studies to assess a program or organization; AND
    -
    Developing performance measures to drive improved organizational performance; AND
    -
    Preparing guides, reports or summaries communicating technical information on programmatic issues, processes, or improvements.
