Although all documents must be received by the closing date of the announcement (see "How to Apply"), applicants have until 30 days after the closing date to meet all eligibility and qualifications requirements listed below. Time-in-Grade: For the GS-13 level: Candidates must have been a GS-12 for 52 weeks (when applicable). Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment. Specialized Experience: For the GS-13 level: You must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized Experience includes working knowledge and experience with the administrative and operational functions of an organization, including equipment, travel, records management, supply and other support service functions.
Notes: The experience may have been gained in either the public or private sector. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
