To be eligible for this position at this grade level, you must meet the requirements below.

You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Your experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with IRS functions, programs, policies, regulations, procedures, and operations to evaluate program plans and determine impact of changes on program goals; Experience using cross-functional programs and their interrelationship with assigned program to conduct reviews, studies/projects and coordinate systems and resource utilization of program operations; Experience in recognizing significant tax issues and enforcement changes that impact assigned programs in order to recommend changes in implementing regulations; experience using principles of management planning, program and process analysis, management reporting procedures and available system capabilities to resolve operating problems, and providing statistical data or other management information reports; Experience in oral and written communications to conduct briefings, prepare reports, document findings and, disseminate procedural and regulatory information; Experience adjusting Individual Master File (IMF) Accounts based on taxpayer requests, which includes verification of all IDRS transactions. Experience with Basic Tax Law, IMF Accounts, Identity Theft, Tax Reform, Affordable Care Act, and IRS procedures. Experience using CIS. Experience evaluating responses to written taxpayer inquiries, and internal requests from scanned images of the taxpayer's forms and correspondence. Experience on Account Paper Adjustments. Experience on Identity Theft Paper which includes Return Preparer Misconduct – AM, IDT Paper Specialty, IDT Fraudulent Return, IDT IPSU, and IDT Paper – AM. Experience using the Embedded Quality Review System/National Quality Review System, writing non-evaluative/evaluative reviews from taxpayer contacts, and composing EXCEL document reports. Experience in oral and written communications to conduct briefings, prepare reports, document findings and, disseminate procedural and regulatory information.
