To be eligible for this position at this grade level, you must meet the requirements below.
You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience with evaluative and analytical methods and techniques and management and organizational techniques, systems, and procedures to apply to programs, projects and studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of operations and means to improve them; Experience with operational programs, work processes and related activities to identify actual or potential problem areas, trends and deficiencies; Experience leading special projects, working with management tools and techniques to plan, schedule, implement, closeout, and evaluate complex multifaceted budgetary projects and studies. Experience with budgeting methods and techniques to prepare analyses and estimates; Experience in oral communication necessary to present findings to management, deliver briefings, and negotiate solutions to disputed recommendations; Experience in written communication to prepare project papers, budgetary reports, manuals, and directives.
