To be eligible for this position at this grade level, you must meet the requirements below.
To be minimally qualified for the GS-11 level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-9 level that demonstrated knowledge of standard rules and procedures to resolve software and hardware processing issues; Extensive knowledge of the features, characteristics and interrelationships of multiple types of computer equipment, application and utility programs, internal computer processes and magnetic media in order to resolve operating problems and malfunctions; Knowledge of a wide range of analytical and diagnostic methods, procedures and principles to identify required actions and implement decisions; Knowledge of agency regulations, directives and procedures which govern the establishment, maintenance and retention of office files, requisition of supplies and equipment to ensure smooth workflow of all administrative support activities; Knowledge of data content and output options used in electronic document management and media management. In addition, you should have the ability to operate a variety of office automation equipment and software, such as desk top computers, digital signature and form definition software, as well as varied electronic document management systems to produce and distribute work products; Knowledge of oral and written communication methods and techniques sufficient to effectively explain and communicate technical and procedural information clearly and precisely.

TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Under merit promotion procedures, Federal applicants must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade to satisfy time-in-grade restrictions contained in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F.
