To be eligible for this position at this grade level, you must meet the requirements below.
At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the grade 12 that demonstrated knowledge of a wide-range of information security concepts, practices, standards, procedures and programs including ADP security sufficient to assist in managing a data security program for an organization; Comprehensive knowledge of security principles, techniques and methods sufficient to assist in managing a data security program for an organization; Ability to assess and evaluate computer and communications systems' compliance with administrative security procedures, internal control measures, and the effectiveness of security safeguards on the systems; Ability to ensure compliance with Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) regulations, investigate and resolve complex data security issues, provide technical assistance, advice and consultation regarding security measures and effectiveness, initiate investigations of security incidents; and maintain security applications for assigned systems; Knowledge of complex emergency management procedures related to information security involvement of incident management, disaster recovery, business resumption, continuity of operations, and continuity of Government.
