To qualify for this position at this grade level, you must have at least one year (12 months) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-4 level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that is related to the work of this position and has provided you with the competencies required for successful job performance. Examples of qualifying experience include positions providing office administrative support doing functions such as preparing correspondence and greeting and directing visitors.

You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows: A Bachelor's degree or four (4) years of education above high school in any field of study from an accredited college or university.

Equivalent combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
