To be eligible for this position at this grade level, you must meet the requirements below.
You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: using knowledge of IRS organizational structures and responsibilities, Media and Publications, area distribution centers, service campuses and various field offices and their interrelationships to be able to recognize effective distribution patterns; Experience using extensive knowledge of program management requirements for distribution, in order to provide technical advice, guidance and assistance on distribution operations. This includes developing and/or recommending new or revised distribution policies and procedures. In addition, you will need to demonstrate experience using extensive knowledge of a wide range of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to develop innovative solutions to complex problems and make recommendations for improvement where you will conduct long term planning and analysis to anticipate changing needs and how to best address them; Accomplishment working with computer systems and broad knowledge of various PC software applications for effective analysis. In addition, your experience should demonstrate knowledge and ability to work with budget and procurement procedures; Experience using knowledge of project management techniques to ensure projects are in control and resources are expended effectively; and experience using knowledge of inter-relationships of operations to assess overall program cost, effectiveness, and staffing utilization.
