You must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience includes developing a construction plan that integrates the customers' needs while meeting HUD's goals. This is accomplished through site visits, site evaluation, evaluation of facilities to be built as well as determining the extent of refurbishing existing sites while adhering to building regulations. The Construction Analyst must be able to review contract bids, serve as a team leader providing technical advice, provide solution(s) to correct performance deficiencies or compliance violations, information dissemination, resource material, etc. on general maintenance practices and issues to customers, make suggested revisions as well as conduct periodic evaluations of the site and must be able to function in as part of a team.
