To be eligible for this position at this grade level, you must meet the requirements below.
You must have [1] one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Your experience must demonstrate using analytical and evaluative methods in order to assess and measure effectiveness of program operations, identify wide-spread gaps or conflicts in program information, consolidate findings and, recommend alternatives. Experience using knowledge of cross-functional programs and their interrelationship with assigned program to conduct reviews, studies/projects. Experience working with internal as well as external stakeholder in analyzing data and knowledge of IRS initiatives. Experience serving as a technical expert in the identification of refund fraud and identity theft resulting in development of identity theft programs and/or procedures to protect and recover revenue. Experience using the Electronic Fraud Detection System (EFDS), writing and creating Discoverer Queries, analyzing output data, and providing guidance and direction based on results.
