To be eligible for this position at this grade level, you must meet the requirements below.
You must have 3 years of general experience, 1 year of general experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-4 grade level in the Federal service. General experience for this position includes: Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; Plan and organize work; and Communicate effectively orally and in writing; OR 4 year course of study leading to a Bachelor's Degree at an accredited college or university in any related field of study of the position being hired.

You must have one 1 year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-5 grade level in the Federal service.   Specialized experience for this position includes: entry-level human resources assignments and communicating factual and procedural HR information clearly, verbally and in writing. OR Superior Academic Achievement may be met by having a Bachelors degree, with one of the following: A GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale for all completed undergraduate courses or those completed in the last 2 years of study, or a GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale for all courses in the major field of study or those courses in the major completed in the last 2 years of study, or rank in the upper one third of the class in the college, university, or major subdivision, or membership in a national honor society recognized by the Association of College Honor Societies. OR At least one (1) academic year of graduate education in a field of study such as: human resources, public administration, organizational psychology, or other administrative and management fields. OR Equivalent combination of qualifying graduate education and experience.

Specialized experience for this position includes: performing highly structured, entry-level work designed to develop broader and more in-depth assignments used within HR functions; communicating factual and procedural HR information clearly, orally and in writing; and gathering and analyzing basic facts and drawing conclusions regarding HR processes. OR A master's or equivalent graduate degree in a field of study such as: human resources, public administration, organizational psychology, or other administrative and management fields. OR 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a graduate degree in a field of study such as: human resources, organizational psychology, public administration or other administrative and management fields. OR LL.B or JD if related. OR Equivalent combination of graduate education and experience.
