  • I have independently worked as a Journeyman Bookbinder set up, planning, directing and coordinating daily assigned work orders, troubleshooting malfunctions, making all technical adjustments and making repairs as needed on three (3) or more pieces of high-speed binding equipment to include High-speed Drills (i.e., Lawson, Miller & Challenge); High-speed Trimmers (i.e., Harris, Muller Martini, Kolbus, Wohlenbury); High-speed Collators (i.e., Harris, Muller Martini, Kolbus, Rossbeck); Continues feed folders (i.e., Stahl, MBO, Baum, etc.) and High-speed Stitchers (i.e., McCain, Macey, Muller Martini, Lawson, Harris). As a journeyman, I relay pertinent information to supervisors and co-workers for continuity of work processes. I perform recurring tasks that require me to make frequent changes to accommodate changing work requirements and priorities within quality standards. I receive only general instructions on new work and report only unique situations to the supervisor.

As a journeyman, I relay pertinent information to supervisors and co-workers for continuity of work processes. All unusual situations are reviewed by a supervisor.
