Summary
As the Government's financial manager, the Financial Management Service (FMS) provides central payment services to federal agencies, operates the federal government's collections and deposit systems, provides government-wide accounting and reporting services, and manages the collection of delinquent debt owed to the government. We are looking for highly qualified individuals to meet the challenges of expanding electronic services and processes to our customers and the American public. FMS is seeking a Director for the Cash Management Infrastructure Group (CMIG). CMIG is responsible for leading and coordinating the Collections and Cash Management Modernization (CCMM) initiative; managing Federal Finance's banking and depositary relationships, including the management of budgets and costs; coordinating the efficient transfer of Federal assistance funds between the Federal government and states under the Cash Management Improvement Act; providing efficient program support functions and administrative services for Federal Finance; and providing risk management, project management, enterprise architecture, and governance services for Federal Finance's IT systems. Working under the general direction of the Assistant Commissioner for Federal Finance, you will be responsible for the leadership, management, and direction through managers to a group of highly technical professionals.
